The name's Melissa, and i am happily married to a wonderful man. i happen to love life and everything that makes it up. i'm laidback to a point where it sometimes makes me wonder if there's something wrong with me. i don't worry about things. life gives and takes, and i'm more than grateful for everything i have in the world. i have a strong faith in God, and i know what i believe, so don't try to change my mind. just like everyone else always says, my family is amazing. they're perfect in every sense of the word, and i love 'em to death. i'm not one to open myself up to people quickly. i'm extremely honest. truth be told, i have nothing left to hide. sometimes my honesty comes off more harsh than i'd like it to, but it's all a matter of interpretation. oh, my sense of humor's out of whack, and my laugh is contagious. i'm not one to push or pry for anything. the way i see it, if you have something that you'd like to tell me, you can do so on your own. i'm always ears, especially if i really care about you. basically, i live to let others shine. i find beauty and happiness in things that you probably don't, and i find myself to be a bit of an eccentric at times. i love working with words. i write poetry, and writing is my way of venting. i'm not the least bit uncomfortable being alone. i'm probably the most unmaterialistic person you'll meet. i don't find comfort or satisfaction in expensive jewelry or handbags. i'm a lot less superficial than the majority of the world. i don't smoke or drink, and i don't ever plan to. i'm a happy person, always laughing and smiling, but when the time calls for it, i can be serious. i love helping people, even in the tiniest ways. just the smallest token of sentiment can really help people. i've learned that. i love talking about anything and everything. i'm nice to new people, but i like having a reason to keep people around, but this paragraph doesn't do my character justice. there's so much more to me than the words that your eyes have just gazed over. all in all, i don't live for myself. i live for others.
